About Hannah

Hello I’m Hannah, a licensed acupuncturist based in East London, dedicated to offering thoughtful, personalised care that supports your health and wellbeing through a holistic approach.

I studied for three years at The City College of Acupuncture gaining over 400 hours of clinical experience, and obtaining a first class degree-level Licentiate (Lic.Ac).

I was first introduced to acupuncture in 2019 while searching for help with chronic facial pain. Experiencing acupuncture for myself opened my eyes to a completely different way of looking at health and wellbeing, and I became fascinated by its potential to support the body in ways I hadn’t previously considered. What started as a personal experience quickly grew into a passion, and ultimately led me to leave a 12 year career in the events industry to retrain as an acupuncturist.

I was drawn to the way Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) looks beyond individual symptoms to consider the person as a whole, and how different aspects of our health, lifestyle and environment can influence how we feel.

I have a particular interest in women’s health, hormonal balance and fertility, alongside supporting people with pain, stress, anxiety, insomnia, digestive issues, headaches and migraine. I work with those experiencing chronic health concerns, where symptoms can often feel difficult to navigate. My approach is to take the time to understand you as a whole person, rather than simply treating a list of symptoms. My aim is to stimulate the body’s own innate healing process using Chinese Medicine and acupuncture to bring the mind, body, and spirit into balance.

Having grown up in the countryside, I have always had a strong connection with nature. This is one of the aspects of TCM that I particularly connect with. TCM recognises the importance of living in harmony with the seasons and the natural world. Our health is influenced not only by what is happening within us, but also by how we interact with the world around us.

My professional background in food and passion for cooking, seasonal eating and TCM inspired nutrition, have also shaped my understanding of health. Where appropriate, I may incorporate dietary and lifestyle suggestions into your treatment, with the aim of supporting you beyond the treatment room.

I believe acupuncture should feel approachable, safe and personal. I aim to create a calm, welcoming space where you feel comfortable, listened to and able to take some time for yourself. My approach is deeply rooted in the principles of TCM. Every treatment is individual, I work collaboratively with you, taking the time to understand what’s going on and tailoring your treatment to what you need.

I am a registered member of the British Acupuncture Council (MBAcC), this ensures I am trained to the highest educational standards and adhere to strict codes of safe practice. I undertake ongoing professional training each year as part of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

Postgraduate training includes:
